This marked the largest monthly decrease in five years. Year-over-year, the increase in producer prices slowed down to 2.4%, down from 3.4% a month earlier.Core wholesale prices, which exclude food adn energy, also fell by 0.4%. The decline in prices was largely attributed to a 0.7% drop in service prices, reflecting reduced profit margins at both wholesalers and retailers. the smallest year-over-year gain in more than four years.<\/p>\n<p>Economists have predicted that Trump&rsquo;s tariffs would drive up prices, and many expect the impact to show up in June or July.<\/p>\n<p>Trump&rsquo;s tariffs haven&rsquo;t just had a tangible impact on prices.<\/p>\n<p>Those tariff policies have brought other countries to the table &mdash;
