Since 2020, we&rsquo;ve overhauled our emergency management plans and out of an abundance of caution are planning for any eventuality.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>An <a href=\"https:\/\/get.dailywire.com\/pardon-derek\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online petition drive<\/a> exists requesting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/derek-chauvin-pardon-looks-likely-day-elon-begins-making-moves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pardon<\/a> for Chauvin.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The evidence demonstrates that Derek Chauvin did not murder George Floyd,&rdquo; conservative commentator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/rep-eric-swalwell-humiliates-attempt-snare-ben-shapiro-gotcha-question-backfires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ben Shapiro<\/a> wrote in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pardon-derek-chauvin-my-letter-to-donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">open letter<\/a> to Trump.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;George Floyd was high on fentanyl. There was no accusation at trial that Derek Chauvin targeted George Floyd for his race,&rdquo; Shapiro explained.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Perhaps most significantly, there was massive overt pressure on the jury to return a guilty verdict regardless of the evidence or any semblance of impartial deliberation.
