She stated that in hindsight, having a primary could have led to a different outcome, especially following Vice President Kamala harris&#8217;s loss to Donald Trump in the 2024 election. Klobuchar&#8217;s comments reflect a growing sentiment among some democrats who believe that Biden&#8217;s immediate endorsement of Harris undermined the primary process and possibly reduced their chances against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Biden,however,defended his decision in a BBC interview,asserting that endorsing Harris was the right move despite it being a tough choice. He attributed Harris\u2019s loss to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\" >gender-related biases<\/a>, a stance that Klobuchar questioned. Her remarks on the matter follow Harris&rsquo;s bruising loss in the 2024 election to Trump, after which some critics argued Democrats might have won the White House if the party had chosen to hold a primary after Biden&rsquo;s exit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;You know, everything we look at in a rearview mirror after you lose an election. Yes, we would have been served better by a primary. But we are where we are.
