This decision comes after Trump withdrew his previous nominee, Ed Martin, due to a lack of support in the Senate. Trump praised Pirro for her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-taps-ca-labor-official-for-role-amidst-states-multi-billion-dollar-unemployment-fraud-scandal\/\" title=\"Biden Taps CA Labor Official For Role Amidst State\u2019s Multi-Billion Dollar Unemployment Fraud Scandal\">distinguished legal career<\/a>, noting her roles as Assistant District Attorney, County Judge, and District Attorney in Westchester County, New York, where she made history as the first woman to hold these positions. He characterized her as a fierce advocate for crime victims and highly qualified for the attorney position.
