In recent years, she has blasted Democrats for enabling illegal immigrants to enter the country, regularly speaking out against sanctuary cities and demanding immigration reform. This would require them to disobey Pritzker&rsquo;s commands not to cooperate with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;These are the tragic consequences of his failed leadership,&rdquo; Miller said. &ldquo;I call on every local sheriff in Illinois to defy these dangerous directives, cooperate with ICE, and support President Trump&rsquo;s deportation efforts. We must act now before one more innocent American life is lost or harmed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>During his time in office, Pritzker was instrumental in passing legislation such as the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/chicago\/news\/gov-jb-pritzker-to-testify-congress-immigration-sanctuary-laws\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trust Act<\/a>, which created barriers for state, county, and local law enforcement in Illinois to cooperate with ICE. In 2021, he signed several <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.illinois.gov\/news\/press-release.23653.html\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bills<\/a> that strengthened the Trust Act and made &ldquo;Illinois the second state in the nation to require local officials to end partnerships with ICE.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, identified Pritzker and other Democratic governors as &ldquo;obstructing federal immigration enforcement.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The governors of these states must explain why they are prioritizing the protection of criminal illegal aliens over the safety of U.S. citizens, and they must be held accountable,&rdquo; Comer said.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, it was reported that Pritzker, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), and Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) will testify before Congress on June 12 about their states&rsquo; immigration policies, according to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcchicago.com\/news\/local\/chicago-politics\/jb-pritzker-testify-congress-sanctuary-city-policies\/3739337\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CBS News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/3402089\/democratic-party-immigration-ruben-gallego\/\"><strong>DEMOCRATS HAVE LEARNED NOTHING ON IMMIGRATION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As for Miller, she maintains that Pritzker&rsquo;s policies hurt innocent American citizens.
