But the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/a-real-life-iron-man-the-incredible-story-of-elon-musks-rise-to-worlds-richest-man\/\" title=\"\u2018A Real Life Iron-Man\u2019: The Incredible Story Of Elon Musk\u2019s Rise To World\u2019s Richest Man\">electric car company<\/a> did not complete a delivery of the semi truck until 2022.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle has suffered a number of other production setbacks in the eight years since the initial announcement. After the first 2022 deliveries, Musk promised 50,000 semi trucks in circulation by 2024.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In 2023 Tesla said there would be a designated semi truck factory in Nevada, but now the new hires are expected to work in an added-on area of the existing Sparks Gigafactory, which largely produces batteries for the company.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The all-electric semi truck &mdash; with a range of 500 miles between charges &mdash; already has orders from major American brands like Costco, Walmart and UPS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3292730\/all-executive-orders-actions-trump-first-day\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FULL LIST OF EXECUTIVE ORDERS, ACTIONS, AND PROCLAMATIONS TRUMP HAS MADE AS PRESIDENT<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As part of another plan,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2025\/04\/30\/tesla-semi-public-charging-network-coming-with-46-stations-in-2027\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Tesla recently announced<\/a>&nbsp;they would open 46 semi truck &ldquo;Megachargers&rdquo; in 2027.
