Comperatore died from stray bullets while he was <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3081773\/trump-rally-attendee-killed-assassination-attempt-identified-corey-comperatore\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shielding family members from gunfire<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after the assassination attempt, the Republican National Convention was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
