Recently, U.S. District Judge Royce Lamberth issued a preliminary injunction requiring USAGM to rehire employees at Voice of America and related entities, which Lake argues contradicts the president&#8217;s executive powers. She claims judges are <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">impeding agency modernization efforts aimed<\/a> at reducing bureaucratic excess, asserting that this behavior undermines the will of the people. <\/p>\n<p>Lake believes these judicial decisions will likely escalate to the Supreme Court, suggesting some judges may have biases. The injunction also required that congressional funding not be withheld from any of the outlets. Hannah Dugan over obstructing ICE operations\">illegal immigrant evade arrest<\/a>. The USAGM adviser suggested that people &ldquo;end up in handcuffs&rdquo; if they break the law, and that &ldquo;it appears&rdquo; Dugan broke the law, noting that the law is applied equally regardless of whether a person is a judge or a &ldquo;regular, everyday person.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Another roadblock the Trump administration is facing is three judges ruling against the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/education-department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Education Department<\/a>&rsquo;s effort to defund public schools with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/dei\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">diversity, equity, and inclusion<\/a> programs.
