The man is Dylan Adams, who caused $20,000 in damages because Tesla CEO Elon Musk is working as an adviser to the Trump administration to cut waste from federal departments. He is employed by the Minnesota government, specifically the state&rsquo;s Department of Human Services. This is particularly interesting because Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">failed vice presidential candidate<\/a>, has been leading the charge against Musk. Walz has called Musk a &ldquo;dips***,&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3353765\/tesla-attacks-musk-tim-walz-tiana-lowe-doescher\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"celebrated\">celebrated<\/a> Tesla stock dropping while its cars were being vandalized, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/beltway-confidential\/3352772\/tim-walz-rebrand-obnoxious-fake-tough-guy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"said\">said<\/a> he could beat up supporters of President Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>So you have a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/when-the-media-tries-to-wash-their-hands-of-andrew-cuomo-remind-them-of-these-comments\/\" title=\"When The Media Tries To Wash Their Hands Of Andrew Cuomo, Remind Them Of These Comments\">state government employee<\/a> who vandalized people&rsquo;s cars to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars in damages, and he works for a governor who is stoking Musk-hate and glorifying political violence. What could complete this trifecta of liberal ideological decay? How about a woke DA letting Adams off the hook?<\/p>\n<p>Mary Moriarty is the Hennepin County, Minnesota, DA. As with all pro-criminal DAs, Moriarty is a lifelong defense attorney who took control of the prosecutor&rsquo;s office to tilt the balance of power in the criminal justice system entirely to criminals and accused criminals. Moriarty is incredibly <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/10\/03\/minneapolis-woke-da-draws-criticism-from-families-soros-ally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"weak\">weak<\/a> on crime. She&rsquo;s even had cases taken out of her control and given to Democratic state Attorney General Keith Ellison.<\/p>\n<p>Moriarty has gone extra soft on Adams, letting him off the hook almost entirely for his crimes. Adams will not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/witch-hunt-mueller-prosecutor-says-trump-could-face-charges-after-pardons\/\" title=\"WITCH HUNT: Mueller Prosecutor Says Trump Could Face Charges After Pardons\">face charges<\/a>. Instead, he will be put in a diversion program. Adams will face no jail time unless he fails to meet the program&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/kstp.com\/kstp-news\/top-news\/hennepin-county-attorney-wont-charge-man-who-caused-20k-in-damage-to-teslas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"requirements\">requirements<\/a>, including paying back the victims. And if he fails to meet those requirements, you can be sure that the DA who wants to give probation and no jail time to criminals who commit murders or molest teenagers will make sure Adams receives justice. (Or she will probably just give him probation. Who is to say?)<\/p>\n<p>Walz has lamented he&rsquo;s not the &ldquo;best spokesperson&rdquo; as Democrats missed &ldquo;things that improved people&rsquo;s lives.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/opinion\/beltway-confidential\/3355038\/tim-walz-should-worry-about-minnesota-school-test-scores\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">TIM WALZ SHOULD WORRY ABOUT HIS STATE&rsquo;S SCHOOL TEST SCORES, NOT TESLA STOCK<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is a classic example of how broken liberalism has developed over the past decade. A state employee, fueled by hateful rhetoric from a prominent Democrat, destroyed property because he was mad about politics. He will then escape almost all consequences because a public defender hijacked the DA&rsquo;s office. All that is missing is an antisemitic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfsb.com\/2025\/04\/23\/pro-palestinian-protest-erupts-yale-university\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"mob\">mob<\/a> of college students.<\/p>\n<p>Minnesota has sneakily been one of the worst states in the country over the past few years, going back to the Black Lives Matter riots that erupted in Minneapolis.
