Reinacher, who allegedly carried out the attack using a serrated kitchen knife, was found at the scene of the incident and was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Bobbie Mitchell has been Denton County&rsquo;s commissioner since 2000 after previously serving as mayor of Lewisville, located in the county. She is in stable condition and received treatment for her wounds, according to police.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are very thankful for the outreach everyone has extended to us on behalf of our family,&rdquo; the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/new-york-city-government-raids-whos-involved-and-what-we-know-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"New York City government raids: Who\u2019s involved and what we know - Washington Examiner\">commissioner&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s family said in a statement, <a href=\"https:\/\/dentonrc.com\/news\/crime\/grandson-arrested-in-fatal-stabbing-of-denton-county-commissioners-husband\/article_736e38e5-445f-4730-858f-28903fb3a1ec.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">according <\/a>to the <em>Denton Record-Chronicle<\/em>. &ldquo;Our mother offers her blessings to all who have reached out.
