The Germany-based shipper was once able to drop off its packages at thousands of USPS locations, but the service has since limited drop-off locations to 500 large hubs and charges full price.<\/p>\n<p>U.S. tariffs on foreign goods, largely slated to begin on July 9, have also prompted changes to the shipping industry. The United Kingdom floated a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3377693\/un-carbon-tax-shipping-trump-threat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"carbon tax\">carbon tax<\/a> on shipping while Hong Kong <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3381709\/hong-kong-postal-service-suspension-to-united-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"suspended shipping\">suspended shipping<\/a> to the U.S. altogether.
