the Supreme Court&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/orders\/courtorders\/041925zr_c18e.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"order\">order<\/a> said.<\/p>\n<p>Justices Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented from the court&rsquo;s order.<\/p>\n<p>The ACLU had alleged in its court filings that the Trump administration had notified multiple migrants in the Bluebonnet Detention Center in Anson, Texas, that they were subject to the Alien Enemies Act, and feared deportations would begin quickly.<\/p>\n<p>The Alien Enemies Act of 1798 authorizes the rapid deportation of migrants from countries the U.S. is at declared war with or who are attempting an invasion. President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Donald-Trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> invoked the Alien Enemies Act on the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, declaring an invasion by them, and deported a group of Venezuelan nationals to a prison in El Salvador last month.<\/p>\n<p>Since Trump&rsquo;s invocation of the act, there have been various legal battles over the administration&rsquo;s actions.
