These notifications were meant for non-citizens but utilized known email addresses and,consequently,some citizens like Lisa Anderson from Connecticut received alarming messages instructing them to leave the United States promptly. The DHS stated that they are investigating these communications on a case-by-case basis. If a non-personal email&mdash;such as an American citizen contact&mdash;was provided by the alien, notices may have been sent to unintended recipients. Do not attempt to remain in the United States &ndash; the federal government will find you. Please depart the United States immediately,&rdquo; the email read. Micheroni said there had not been a follow-up.<\/p>\n<p>The emails from the DHS fall in line with the Trump administration&rsquo;s agenda to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/there-goes-central-park-nycs-illegal-aliens-may-get-tents-to-solve-overwhelming-housing-crisis\/\" title=\"Central Park to Provide Tents for NYC...s Housing Crisis\">encourage illegal immigrants<\/a> to self-deport.
