He pointed out that China is &ldquo;a massive exporter&rdquo; of goods, and the U.S. is its biggest customer. His comment mirrors what <em>Shark Tank<\/em> host Kevin O&rsquo;Leary said about the U.S. and China&rsquo;s feud with tariffs, claiming that Chinese President Xi Jinping can only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3374823\/kevin-oleary-pushes-for-400-percent-tariff-on-china\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">remain supreme leader<\/a> &ldquo;if people are employed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of Trump&rsquo;s &ldquo;Liberation Day&rdquo; on April 2, retail sales <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/finance-and-economy\/3382286\/retail-sales-large-boost-march-trump-tariffs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">increased 1.4% in March compared to February<\/a>. This is likely the result of retailers prepping for the tariffs before most&nbsp;were delayed by 90 days.
