The IRS announced that residents in Arkansas and Tennessee now have until November 3 to file their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/timothy-nash-optimizing-the-financing-and-regulation-of-the-u-s-economy\/\" title=\"Timothy Nash: \u201cOptimizing the Financing and Regulation of the U. S. Economy\u201d\">individual income tax returns<\/a> and make payments that were originally due after April 2. This extension also applies to businesses concerning various tax obligations.<\/p>\n<p>In Arkansas, an executive order from Governor Sarah Sanders further postponed the state tax deadline to July 31 for residents impacted by the storms. However,the state faced a setback when the FEMA denied its request for Individual Assistance funding for residents affected by tornadoes in mid-March,prompting the governor to appeal the decision,citing ongoing hardships.<\/p>\n<p>The IRS deadlines were similarly adjusted for residents in Kentucky and specific counties in West Virginia, while taxpayers in parts of California have until October 15 to file due to January fires.
