Pulte expressed concerns regarding James&#8217;s credibility based on her past property transactions, including one where she allegedly misrepresented relationships in mortgage applications. the letter claimed.<\/p>\n<p>Because she listed the unit as a four-unit dwelling instead of five, she could have reduced her mortgage rate by as much as 1% and had lower monthly payments under the federal Home Assistance Modification Program, Pulte said.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Ms. James, for both properties listed above, appears to have falsified records in order to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p>Pulte also <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/04\/15\/us-news\/trump-administration-refers-ny-ag-tish-james-for-prosecution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">reportedly<\/a> attached several documents detailing how James purchased another property with her father as a co-signer but listed the pair as &ldquo;husband and wife&rdquo;
