Elizabeth Warren&rsquo;s respective political campaigns, The Federalist has learned. <\/p>\n<p>On Monday, District Court Judge Indira Talwani, an Obama appointee, issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/justiceactioncenter.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/0097-Order-Granting-Stay-of-CHNV-Revocations.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stay<\/a> on the Trump administration&rsquo;s efforts to terminate the legal status of approximately 530,000 foreign nationals allowed into the U.S. under the Biden administration&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.federalregister.gov\/documents\/2025\/03\/25\/2025-05128\/termination-of-parole-processes-for-cubans-haitians-nicaraguans-and-venezuelans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CHNV parole program<\/a>. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.md\/G5irh#selection-2537.57-2537.94\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox News<\/a>, these noncitizens and their immediate family members originate from &ldquo;Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.&rdquo; <\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2 d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-523283152\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1463670073398-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>As noted by the outlet, &ldquo;The program was temporarily paused after widespread fraud was found. Several recipients were also arrested for high-profile crimes, including multiple child rapes.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>In her ruling, Talwani justified her issuance of a stay by effectively arguing that the Trump administration must initiate a &ldquo;case-by-case review&rdquo; of each individual granted access to America under the program and cannot issue a blanket revocation of the enrolled individuals&rsquo; legal statuses and work permits. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Termination of Parole Processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans, 90 Fed. Reg. 13611 (Mar. 25, 2025), is hereby STAYED pending further <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-michigan-house-member-files-to-impeach-governor-gretchen-whitmer\/\" title=\"BREAKING: Michigan House Member Files to Impeach Governor Gretchen Whitmer\">court order<\/a> insofar as it revokes, without case-by-case review, the previously granted parole and work authorization issued to noncitizens paroled into the United States pursuant to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-biden-admin-offers-parole-possible-work-permits-some-for-migrants\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: Biden Admin Offers Parole, Possible ... Some for Migrants\">parole programs<\/a> for noncitizens from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (the &lsquo;CHNV parole programs&rsquo;) prior to the noncitizen&rsquo;s originally stated parole end date,&rdquo; Talwani wrote. <\/p>\n<p>The Obama appointee signaled she would issue a stay in the case last week, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/fox4kc.com\/news\/national\/ap-us-news\/ap-judge-halts-trump-administration-from-ending-humanitarian-parole-for-people-from-four-countries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Associated Press<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>While unsurprising given the president who nominated her, Talwani&rsquo;s left-wing partisanship was evident well before her May 2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.senate.gov\/legislative\/LIS\/roll_call_votes\/vote1132\/vote_113_2_00137.htm?congress=113&amp;session=2&amp;vote=00137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confirmation<\/a> by the U.S. Senate. In fact, Federal Election Commission (FEC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/receipts\/individual-contributions\/?contributor_name=Indira+Talwani\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">records<\/a> reviewed by The Federalist show that Talwani previously donated to several Democrat politicians and causes in the years before becoming a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/sidney-powell-is-an-american-legal-giant\/\" title=\"Sidney Powell Is an American Legal Giant\">federal judge<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>While working at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.judiciary.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/Talwani-Senate-Questionnaire-Final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">private law firm<\/a>, for instance, Talwani made three donations totaling $350 (from 2011 to 2012) to the 2012 Senate campaign of now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.masslive.com\/entertainment\/2013\/09\/post_96.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">local Massachusetts media<\/a>, Warren was the senator who recommended Talwani&rsquo;s nomination for the judgeship she now holds. In a reported statement reacting to Talwani&rsquo;s nomination, the Democrat senator praised Talwani and a Massachusetts-based district attorney also tapped for a federal judgeship by Obama for their &ldquo;diverse professional backgrounds, strong ties to the community, and impressive legal careers.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>FEC records also show that Talwani made a $100 donation to Obama&rsquo;s first presidential campaign in September 2008.
