Amin, 24, allegedly sent a series of threatening texts between March 29 and April 1, expressing intentions to harm Gabbard and declaring her home a target.He was arrested on April 11. Gabbard expressed gratitude to the U.S. Marshals and FBI for ensuring her safety following the threats, which included ominous statements about Putin and violent implications. America will burn,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the texts were sent to the personal phone of Gabbard&rsquo;s husband, Abraham Williams, according to the court filing viewed by NBC News. One of Amin&rsquo;s texts to Williams referred to Russia.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Tell your wife to always be on her best behavior and not to disobey Mr. Vladimir Putin&rsquo;s orders. We are friendly bears [Russian Flag + Bear emoji].
