When questioned by CNN\u2019s Kaitlin Collins about the potential for returning Garcia, Bukele dismissed the idea as &#8220;preposterous,&#8221; arguing it would be inappropriate to smuggle a terrorist into the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Abrego Garcia, identified as an alleged MS-13 gang member, was deported last month and is currently imprisoned in El salvador. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a District Judge directing the Trump administration to return him exceeded her authority. The justices highlighted the need to respect the Executive branch&#8217;s role in foreign relations and instructed the Trump administration to clarify its actions concerning Garcia&#8217;s return.<\/p>\n<p>President Trump supported Bukele&#8217;s stance, emphasizing that Garcia is a citizen of El Salvador and that U.S.courts should not <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-ignored-torrent-of-warnings-that-lifting-sanctions-on-russia-could-lead-to-more-war-in-ukraine\/\" title=\"Biden Ignored Torrent of Warnings That Lifting Sanctions on Russia Could Lead to More War in Ukraine\">dictate foreign policy<\/a>. Right? How can I return him to the United States? &hellip; I&rsquo;m not going to do it.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The question is preposterous,&rdquo; he added. &ldquo;How can I smuggle a terrorist into the United States? He had been illegally in our country. And in 2019, two courts, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dhs-worried-about-causing-undue-stress-to-illegal-immigrants-deletes-deportation-warning\/\" title=\"DHS Worried About Causing \u2018Undue Stress\u2019 To Illegal Immigrants, Deletes Deportation Warning\">immigration court<\/a> and an appellate immigration court, ruled that he was a member of MS-13, and he was illegally in our country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;That&rsquo;s up to El Salvador if they want to return him,&rdquo; she added. &ldquo;If they wanted to return him, we would facilitate it, meaning provide a plane.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller also chimed in, saying, &ldquo;He&rsquo;s a citizen of El Salvador, so it&rsquo;s very arrogant, even, for the American media, to suggest that we would even tell El Salvador how to handle their own citizens.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/supreme-court-gives-trump-admin-epic-go-ahead-takes-deportation-illegals-activist-judges-hands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Miller<\/a> further argued that Judge Xinis (an appointee of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/bill-maher-mops-floor-kamala-harris-tim-walz-barack-obama-voter-struggles-haunt-democrats\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barack Obama<\/a>) was essentially ordering the U.S. government to &ldquo;kidnap a citizen of El Salvador and fly him back here.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;No version of this legally ends up with him ever living here because he is a citizen of El Salvador. That is the president of El Salvador. Your questions on it, per the [Supreme Court], can only be directed to him,&rdquo; Miller told Collins.<\/p>\n<p>Secretary of State Marco Rubio also weighed in on the issue, saying, &ldquo;I don&rsquo;t understand what the confusion is. This individual is a citizen of El Salvador. He was illegally in the United States, and was returned to his country.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The foreign policy of the United States is conducted by the president of the United States, not by a court,&rdquo; Rubio continued. &ldquo;And no court in the United States has a right to conduct the foreign policy of the United States.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Collins tried to take one more pass at the issue, directing her question to Trump, arguing the Supreme Court ruling means Abrego Garcia must be returned.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said to her, &ldquo;How long do we have to answer this question?
