he continued.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These numbers come after the National Republican Congressional Committee brought in <a href=\"https:\/\/nrcc.org\/2025\/04\/09\/nrcc-rakes-in-record-shattering-fundraising-haul\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">$35.2 million<\/a> last week at the annual president&rsquo;s dinner, which President Donald Trump spoke at.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Next year, we&rsquo;ll do $45 [million] or $50 million, right?&rdquo; Trump said at the dinner.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Johnson was the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fec.gov\/data\/raising-bythenumbers\/?office=H&amp;election_year=2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">second-highest fundraiser<\/a> in the House for the last election cycle, coming in about $3 million behind House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY).
