That&rsquo;s a hard concept to believe, but it brings enormous risks and consequences,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said removing illegal immigrants needs to be done.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She said putting migrants in programs that have been terminated into the death file so their Social Security numbers will be rejected shows that &ldquo;the Trump Administration is protecting lawful American citizens and their hard-earned Social Security benefits, and ensuring illegal immigrants will no longer receive such economic entitlements.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&ldquo;Anyone who disagrees with the common sense policies of this Administration can find a new job,&rdquo; she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/04\/10\/us\/politics\/migrants-deport-social-security-doge.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The New York Times<\/a>, immigrants who entered through Biden administration initiatives since ended by the Trump administration are the subjects of the effort.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new approach targets about 1.4 million people who participated in two programs &mdash; the so-called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-found-500k-migrants-biden-brought-radar-now-turning-kristi-noem-loose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNVH<\/a> program that opened the door for 500,000 migrants from Nicaragua, Venezuela, and Haiti, and the CBP One app that gave 900,000 migrants <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/unsung-benefit-tough-border-policy-full-display-number-us-bound-migrants-plummets-levels-not-seen-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">work permits<\/a>&nbsp;so they could enter the U.S. and remain.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Trump administration has ended those programs and urged participants to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/homan-reveals-imminent-ultimatum-illegal-immigrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">self-deport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first migrants to be put in the death master file included about 6,100 people who were in those programs, the Post and Times each reported.
