Though, the court upheld that the CFPB cannot be completely dismantled. The ruling follows a March decision by Judge Amy Berman Jackson, which prohibited the administration from shutting down the agency and required the rehiring of laid-off employees.The National Treasury Employees union, which initiated the lawsuit against actions taken by the acting CFPB director and the Office of Management and Budget director, may appeal the recent appellate court decision. Some lawmakers, including Rep.
