Problems\">autism spectrum disorders<\/a>.&rsquo; Milder autism cases are far more common than severe ones.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>The &ldquo;autism spectrum&rdquo; can even include undeniably successful individuals like Elon Musk, the world&rsquo;s richest man and a top adviser to Trump, who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/04\/15\/elon-musk-aspergers-syndrome\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">has publicly stated<\/a> he has Asperger&rsquo;s syndrome, a condition on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psychologytoday.com\/us\/blog\/women-autism-spectrum-disorder\/202109\/the-difference-between-aspergers-and-autism-spectrum\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">autism spectrum<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>But its increase has been a topic of concern for decades.<\/p>\n<p>In 1998, the British medical journal The Lancet published a study implicating the combined vaccination for measles, mumps, and rubella with autism occurrence.
