\t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>Despite losing to the charter city in court, Bonta vowed to prevail in a rematch at a higher court.<\/p>\n<p>He boldly stated that Dourbetas was incorrect.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Yet again, we believe the Orange County Superior Court got it wrong,&rdquo; Bonta said in <a href=\"https:\/\/oag.ca.gov\/news\/press-releases\/attorney-general-bonta-orange-county-superior-court-wrong-again-huntington-beach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a statement<\/a>,<\/p>\n<p>Bonta&rsquo;s partner in suppressing the will of the voters, Shirley Weber, also doubted Dourbetas.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Court got it wrong,&rdquo; Weber said, piggybacking off Bonta in the same statement. &ldquo;Access to the ballot box is a key component of our democracy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The Court&rsquo;s order is in direct conflict with California election laws and will result in disenfranchising California voters.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Remarks from Huntington Beach&rsquo;s side had a much different tone.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huntingtonbeachca.gov\/news_detail_T4_R360.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">charter city&rsquo;s statement<\/a> touted the &ldquo;huge victory&rdquo;
