Kennedy Jr. to resign or be fired from his position as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS).Benjamin criticized Kennedy for his unscientific approach to public health, noting that his leadership has already led to the dismissal of thousands of HHS employees, including at the CDC and FDA. He claimed kennedy&#8217;s management style undermines the efforts of key public health agencies, notably in addressing research grants through the NIH, which has raised concerns among scientists and leaders in the field. Additionally, reports indicate frustration within the White House over interaction issues from Kennedy&#8217;s team regarding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/exclusive-group-of-house-republicans-press-fauci-over-potentially-suppressed-covid-19-treatments\/\" title=\"EXCLUSIVE: Group Of House Republicans ... More than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/interactive\/2025\/03\/31\/health\/scientists-letter.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"1,500\">1,500<\/a> scientists from various disciplines wrote an open letter in the <em>New York Times<\/em> last week saying that the Trump administration and leadership from Kennedy are jeopardizing the scientific and biomedical future prospects of the United States.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy said in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/rfk-jr-sweeping-cuts-health-programs-employees-exclusive-interview\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"interview\">interview<\/a> with <em>CBS<\/em> on Wednesday, his first since taking office, that he was not aware of cuts to certain <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">key research grants studying chronic diseases<\/a>, despite Kennedy&rsquo;s call to eliminate the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/dnc-ramps-up-efforts-to-kill-rfk-jr-s-bid-with-billboards-in-michigan\/\" title=\"DNC intensifies campaign against .... in Michigan with billboards\">chronic disease epidemic<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Benjamin characterized Kennedy&rsquo;s leadership as &ldquo;the poor and thoughtless management that will only undermine the work of our nation&rsquo;s top public health agencies to keep us all healthy.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Calls for Kennedy&rsquo;s firing come on the heels of reports that White House staff are frustrated with Kennedy&rsquo;s team, particularly with HHS messaging on the ongoing measles outbreak in Texas and surrounding states. <\/p>\n<p>Several Trump administration staff told to <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2025\/04\/02\/rfk-jr-messaging-problem-trump-white-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"Axios\">Axios<\/a><\/em>  Thursday morning that they have needed to establish a shadow HHS press office in the White House because Kennedy&rsquo;s team has been unreachable by press. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/3375174\/robert-f-kennedy-jr-didnt-know-about-cuts-to-infectious-disease-addiction-research\/\" title=\"RFK Jr. unaware of cuts to infectious disease and addiction research\"><strong>RFK JR. UNAWARE OF CUTS TO INFECTIOUS DISEASE AND ADDICTION RESEARCH<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kennedy has made several major announcements on social media recently without issuing follow-up press releases with more information.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">On Sunday, Kennedy, for the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/healthcare\/3374236\/rfk-jr-gets-pushback-maha-vaccines-measles-response\/\" target=\"_blank\">first time,<\/a>&nbsp;said on X that the measles, mumps, and rubella, or MMR, vaccine was the &ldquo;most effective&rdquo; mechanism to prevent measles infection.<\/span> He also said that he has redeployed CDC ground support teams in west Texas at the behest of Gov.
