And lastly, we do for us our heirs and successors grant unto said Governor and their successors,&rdquo; McNamara wrote. &ldquo;The Royal Charter expressly gives your office the ability to <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">establish free trade zones<\/a> in the state of Rhode Island.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>McNamara suggested several possibilities for where the Commerce Corporation could establish free trade zones, such as a warehouse being built at the Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport, the Port of Providence, and the Quonset Industrial Park. McNamara also recommended establishing a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/under-trump-americans-have-seen-their-best-wage-growth-in-40-years\/\" title=\"Under Trump, Americans Have Seen Their Best Wage Growth In 40 Years\">free trade agreement<\/a> with international car manufacturers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The letter to McKee comes as Trump seeks to restructure global trading partnerships. On Wednesday, Trump put a 90-day pause on additional tariffs, leaving the baseline 10% tariffs in place after the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/finance-and-economy\/3372883\/stock-market-swings-wild-monday-wall-street\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">stock<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/finance-and-economy\/3374940\/why-is-everybody-worried-bond-markets\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">bond markets<\/a> saw drastic declines. Following Trump&rsquo;s announcement of the tariff pause, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3375731\/market-closes-dow-up-2900-points-trump-pauses-tariffs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the stock market rallied<\/a>, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average soaring 8%, the S&amp;P increasing by 9%, and the Nasdaq up by more than 12%.<\/p>\n<p>However, Trump raised his tariffs on China to 125%.
