In some cases, the tariffs have even advanced. John David Rainey, the company&rsquo;s chief financial officer, stated that operating income has become &ldquo;harder to predict, and we&rsquo;ve widened our internal range of scenarios.&rdquo; Despite this, the company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/04\/09\/walmart-pulls-q1-guidance-due-to-trump-tariffs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">still expects an outlook of 3-4% growth<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rainey also said that the company is &ldquo;still working through&rdquo; how the tariffs will affect it but also noted that about two-thirds of products sold by Walmart are made in the United States. The last third is imported, with China and Mexico as the &ldquo;most significant&rdquo; regarding them.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Delta Air Lines<\/h2>\n<p>Delta Air Lines, meanwhile, has forecast its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/04\/09\/delta-air-lines-dal-1q-2025-earnings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">second-quarter revenue to decline by up to 2%<\/a>. It comes after the airline cut its first-quarter revenue and profit outlooks, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2025\/03\/10\/delta-air-lines-cuts-forecast-softer-demand.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">citing lower travel demand<\/a> for both corporate and leisure purposes.<\/p>\n<p>CEO Ed Bastian has also criticized Trump&rsquo;s tariffs, stating the airline has seen &ldquo;a corresponding reduction in broad consumer confidence and corporate confidence&rdquo; over the last six weeks. Demand for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/canada-announces-strict-quarantine-rules-for-travelers\/\" title=\"Canada announces strict quarantine rules for travelers\">air travel<\/a> was &ldquo;quite good&rdquo; in January, but this demand &ldquo;really started to slow&rdquo; in mid-February, about a month into Trump&rsquo;s second term in office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JPMorgan<\/h2>\n<p>JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon contended that while it is reasonable for the White House to pursue a more &ldquo;fair&rdquo; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/brexit-britain-signs-trade-deal-with-australia-righting-historic-wrong\/\" title=\"Brexit Britain Signs ... Deal with Australia, Righting &#039;Historic Wrong&#039;\">international trade policy<\/a>, the current <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/finance-and-economy\/3374878\/jp-morgan-ceo-jamie-dimon-trump-negotiate-trade-deals-stock-market\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">mass tariffs will &ldquo;likely&rdquo; result in a recession<\/a>. Before Trump&rsquo;s Wednesday afternoon announcement, he urged the administration to negotiate new trading deals since an economic &ldquo;slowdown&rdquo; was on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Part of me thinks, &lsquo;Don&rsquo;t let this go on too long&rsquo; because it&rsquo;s causing cumulative damage, including huge anger at the United States,&rdquo; Dimon said on Fox Business&rsquo;s <em>Mornings with Maria Bartiromo<\/em>. &ldquo;My goal would be to keep the allies together, get them together, keep working on that.
