Trump announced the planting of the new tree, referred to as &#8220;MAGAnolia,&#8221; emphasizing the intention to maintain the White House&#8217;s historic grounds. During the planting ceremony, Trump noted the beauty of the new tree and hinted that the wood from the original tree would be preserved for future use. White House ... ... by Andrew Jackson - Washington Examiner\">magnolia tree planted<\/a> outside the residence with a new sapling that is a &ldquo;descendant&rdquo; of the original tree planted approximately 200 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/donald-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a> revealed at the end of March that the original tree was in &ldquo;terrible condition&rdquo; and would have to come down as it<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3363788\/nps-remove-white-house-magnolia-tree-planted-andrew-jackson\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> posed a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">dangerous safety hazard<\/a><\/a>. He promised a new tree would be planted in its place.
