His declaration of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">martial law resulted<\/a> in his impeachment in December. South Korea&rsquo;s Constitutional Court officially removed him from office on April 4, the <em>Associated Press<\/em> <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/world\/3370242\/yoon-suk-yeol-removed-south-korea-president-martial-law\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;By declaring martial law in breach of the constitution and other laws, the defendant brought back the history of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/yoon-suk-yeol-removed-as-south-koreas-president-over-martial-law\/\" title=\"Yoon Suk Yeol removed as ...&#039;s president over ...\">abusing state emergency decrees<\/a>, shocked the people, and caused confusion in the society, economy, politics, diplomacy, and all other areas,&rdquo; said Moon Hyung-bae, acting chief justice of South Korea&rsquo;s Constitutional Court.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Given the negative impact on constitutional order caused by the defendant&rsquo;s violation of laws and its ripple effects are grave, we find that the benefits of upholding the constitution by dismissing the defendant far outweigh the national losses from the dismissal of the president,&rdquo; Moon asserted.<\/p>\n<p>The country&rsquo;s law stipulates that a presidential <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/south-korea-election-date-03a4e56b7aa98db9e18bad5ab66762cb\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">election<\/a> must occur within 60 days of a president&rsquo;s removal from office.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/3371822\/european-asian-markets-plummet-tariff-uncertainty\/\"><strong>EUROPEAN AND ASIAN MARKETS PLUMMET OVER TARIFF UNCERTAINTY<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Yoon declared martial law over concerns his political opponents were working to sabotage his government and undermine his authority.
