Schmitt asserts that Boasberg &#8220;inserted himself&#8221; into the case, despite not being the designated emergency judge at the time it was filed at 2:30 AM. Schmitt said it was revealed over the weekend that Boasberg is &ldquo;not the emergency judge&rdquo; in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;He inserted himself in that role,&rdquo; Schmitt said on Fox News&rsquo;s <em>The Faulkner Focus<\/em>. &ldquo;He was on vacation. The case was filed at 2:30 in the morning, somehow he ended up with that case.
