tariffs.<\/p>\n<p>If you paid attention to the president on Monday, you would think very differently.<\/p>\n<p>To wit, Trump sparked worldwide economic upheaval on Wednesday &mdash; dubbed &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/official-liberation-day-list-tariffs-maga-dream-come-true\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liberation Day<\/a>&rdquo; &mdash; when he went through with implementing the reciprocal tariffs he had been touting for some time now.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly after those tariffs went into effect, things got a bit tumultuous, economically speaking.<\/p>\n<p>Even Trump admitted that there would be some painful, albeit necessary &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/trump-issues-statement-morning-liberation-day-operation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">healing<\/a>&rdquo; \t\t\t\t}); \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p>But that didn&rsquo;t stop Trump&rsquo;s loudest critics in the media from having a field day all week, with networks like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/politics\/live-news\/trump-tariffs-netanyahu-news-04-07-25\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/morning-joe\/watch\/stock-market-plummets-in-reaction-to-trump-s-tariffs-236702277680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MSNBC<\/a> giving front page coverage to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/top-dem-adviser-says-trump-trade-war-worse-than-harris-price-gouging-ban-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"Top Dem adviser says Trump trade war worse than Harris price gouging ban - Washington Examiner\">stock market&#038;rsquo<\/a>;s tumult.<\/p>\n<p>With the stock market still reacting to &ldquo;Liberation Day&rdquo; just five days into Trump&rsquo;s reciprocal tariffs, it&rsquo;s little wonder that the president&rsquo;s critics are focused on that.<\/p>\n<p>However, Trump took to his  platform on Monday to note that, despite the furor from Democrats and the media, things were actually going rather well.<\/p>\n<p>(And including a not-so-subtle call-to-action for the Federal Reserve.)<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Oil prices are down, interest rates are down (the slow moving Fed should cut rates!), food prices are down, there is NO INFLATION, and the long time abused USA is bringing in Billions of Dollars a week from the abusing countries on Tariffs that are already in place,&rdquo; Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/114296287858068040\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">posted<\/a> Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p>He continued: &ldquo;This is despite the fact that the biggest abuser of them all, China, whose markets are crashing, just raised its Tariffs by 34%, on top of its long term ridiculously high Tariffs (Plus!), not acknowledging my warning for abusing countries not to retaliate.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;They&rsquo;ve made enough, for decades, taking advantage of the Good OL&rsquo; during the initial fallout of &ldquo;Liberation Day.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;THIS IS AN ECONOMIC REVOLUTION, AND WE WILL WIN. HANG TOUGH, it won&rsquo;t be easy, but the end result will be historic.
