As are the people noticing that people are noticing.<\/p>\n<p>One such person is CNN political analyst <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cnn-concedes-donald-trump-remade-electorate-based-latest-polling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Harry Enten<\/a>, who recently caught some attention with a mid-March <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2025\/03\/15\/politics\/video\/democrats-approval-congress-poll-voters-harry-enten-nr-digvid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN segment<\/a> where he didn&rsquo;t mince words when it came to catastrophically bad Democratic polling, particularly for its congressmen.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Look at the disapproval [ratings],&rdquo; a flabbergasted Enten said in the clip. &ldquo;Holy Toledo! Rep. Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Chuck Schumer are too busy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/elon-announces-doges-next-target-nancy-pelosi-may-just-flee-country\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">enriching themselves<\/a> or trying to save <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/soros-comes-schumer-dem-leader-faces-end-career-soros-backed-org-marks-elimination\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their own <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/how-the-biden-administration-is-politicizing-the-military\/\" title=\"How the Biden Administration is Politicizing the Military\">political lives<\/a><\/a> to provide any salient leadership to the party.<\/p>\n<p>The less said about the &ldquo;youth&rdquo; in the party, like Reps. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/watch-jasmine-crockett-shows-doesnt-understand-first-amendment-hearing-meltdown\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jasmine Crockett<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/dem-infighting-worsens-rising-star-takes-direct-shot-touring-aoc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez<\/a>, the better.<\/p>\n<p>And even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fetterman-triggers-party-confirms-support-republican-book\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">somewhat moderate<\/a> Democrats, like Sen. John Fetterman, will inevitably have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/john-fetterman-gets-embarrassed-trying-defend-dems-rogan-exactly-kamala-harris-refused-face-joe-rogan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their warts<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Democrats are leaderless and aimless &mdash; two things that are not exactly appealing to a voting electorate.<\/p>\n<p>And while it&rsquo;s been an apparent issue outside of deep-blue havens, for CNNers like Enten, it&rsquo;s always interesting to see their response to the cold, hard numbers.<\/p>\n<p>Here&rsquo;s Enten just a few days after the above &ldquo;Holy Toledo&rdquo; moment, again citing poor Democrat polling, while parroting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/charles-barkley-torches-wnba-media-caitlin-clark-drama-says-couldnt-make-worse-tried\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">basketball legend<\/a> to do so:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">To quote Charles Barkley, the Dem Party&rsquo;s brand is &ldquo;terrible, terrible&rdquo;.<\/p>\n<p>Dems in Congress approval? A record low 21% overall &amp; more Dems disapprove (49%) than approve (40%)<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Dem voters want Dems in Congress to fight Trump (65%) &amp; 77% say they&rsquo;re not fighting him enough. Yikes.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Yikes,&rdquo; indeed.<\/p>\n<p>And no &ldquo;yikes&rdquo; is perhaps bigger than Enten&rsquo;s final tidbit in that post about Dems &ldquo;not fighting [President Donald Trump] enough.&rdquo; That is the ultimate catch-22 for the party, and an issue that won&rsquo;t be so easy to fix for them.<\/p>\n<p>On the one hand, as Enten alluded to, Democrats aren&rsquo;t doing enough to counteract Trump&rsquo;s agenda, at least according to these constituents.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Trump&rsquo;s agenda is deeply popular. It&rsquo;s not like the 2024 general election was especially close between him and failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris.<\/p>\n<p>You can alienate two-thirds of your own base, or alienate half the country.
