This <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">vindictive 87-month demand ignores sentencing norms<\/a> for similar cases,&rdquo; said Andrew Mancilla, Santos&rsquo;s lawyer.<\/p>\n<p>After the August hearing, Santos apologized to his supporters outside the courthouse in Central Islip, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/cause-death-new-york-yankees-stars-14-year-old-son-confirmed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">New York<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I deeply regret my conduct and the harm it has caused and accept full responsibility for my actions,&rdquo; he said.<\/p>\n<p>But prosecutors aren&rsquo;t buying Santos&rsquo;s &ldquo;remorse.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Against that backdrop, moreover, Santos&rsquo;s post-plea claims of remorse ring hollow.
