On Friday, China announced it would match the new reciprocal tariff by placing a 34% on all U.S. imports into China.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;This practice of the U.S. is not in line with international trade rules, undermines China&rsquo;s legitimate rights and interests, and is a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">typical unilateral bullying practice<\/a>,&rdquo; the Chinese State Council Tariff Commission said in a statement announcing the tariffs.<\/p>\n<p>Trump said the 10% blanket tariff rate will go into effect on April 5, while the higher rates will go into effect on April 9. China&rsquo;s new tariffs against U.S. products are set to go into effect on April 10.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement comes a day after China&rsquo;s commerce ministry <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MOFCOM_China\/status\/1907739868475830439\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"vowed\">vowed<\/a> to &ldquo;take resolute countermeasures to safeguard its legitimate rights and interests&rdquo;
