The D.C. Court of Appeals noted that Biden submitted a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">sealed affidavit consenting<\/a> to the disbarment. Since June 2024, he has been suspended from practicing law after being found guilty of lying about his drug use while attempting to purchase a firearm in 2018. Although the D.C. Bar has listed him as &#8220;Temporarily Disciplinary Suspended&#8221; as the conviction, the disbarment will only become final after the court approves the disciplinary counselS recommendation.
