Chan, a San Francisco-based special agent who liased with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-humiliated-forced-to-issue-a-correction-on-its-own-fact-check-of-trump\/\" title=\"CNN Humiliated, Forced to Issue a Correction on Its Own Fact Check of Trump\">social media conglomerates<\/a>, was told that there was a &ldquo;gag order&rdquo; on discussion of the problematic laptop.<\/p>\n<p>In another message, Chan is instructed to say that &ldquo;official response no commen(t).&rdquo; The reason, bureau officials said, was that there was evidence of criminality on the computer.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/fbi-monitored-giulianis-cloud-account-turned-hunter-laptop-hard-drive-new-york-post-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Chan<\/a> asked, &ldquo;actually what kind of case is the laptop thing? corruption? campaign financing?&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>A redacted message began, &ldquo;CLOSE HOLD &mdash;,&rdquo; followed by plenty of blacked out text.<\/p>\n<p>Chan responded, &ldquo;oh crap &hellip; ok. To say that this went a long way toward silencing any talk about the laptop &mdash; even after social media stopped throttling d stories about it &mdash; is an understatement.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, when you hear these &ldquo;now the story can be told&rdquo;-type missives, what officialdom is saying is, &ldquo;OK, now I guess we can stop lying to you.&rdquo; This is why the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/report-trump-aims-drain-swamp-2025-plans-post-election-purge-doj-fbi-intelligence-community\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">swamp needs to be drained with all due speed<\/a> and never allowed to get even the slightest bit marshy again.
