This sequel to Gibson&#8217;s 2004 film &#8220;The Passion of the Christ&#8221; is anticipated to explore the three days following the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Much of the filming will also take place in Matera and other southern Italian rural locations.<\/p>\n<p>Even though the start date for filming has not been officially confirmed by Gibson,studio CEO Manuela Cacciamani has expressed that extensive preparations will be required. Studios will handle production at their sprawling new facility in Rome, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I can confirm that the next film directed by Mel Gibson, produced by Icon Productions, &lsquo;The Resurrection of Christ,&rsquo; You need to go to Hell.
