Because Hawaii and Guam are both part of the United States. Hawaii was admitted as the 50th state <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archives.gov\/legislative\/features\/hawaii#:~:text=On%20August%2021%2C%201959%20Hawaii%20became%20the%2050th%20state.&amp;text=For%20more%20information%2C%20visit%20the,documents%20related%20to%20Hawaii's%20statehood.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">in 1959<\/a> when Dwight Eisenhower was president.
