Archer later became an informant during investigations led by House Republicans into the Biden family.Trump stated that many people had requested this pardon, asserting that Archer was treated &#8220;very unfairly&#8221; and was, in fact, a victim of crime. Archer had previously expressed that he did not expect too need a pardon, as he claimed to be a victim of financial fraud. His conviction had been overturned but then reinstated, and his sentencing is pending. They destroyed him like they tried to destroy a lot of people,&rdquo; he added.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I had gotten word from my attorney earlier that the president was discussing this, and he had acknowledged that he was going to do it,&rdquo; Archer said Monday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/hunter-bidens-ex-business-partner-reveals-conversation-trump-reportedly-includes-pardon\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fox News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Archer recalled how former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/devon-archer-bombshell-hunter-biden-called-dc-get-ukrainian-prosecutor-investigating-burisma-fired\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">President Joe Biden<\/a> had talked to him.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Joe would end a meeting and say, &lsquo;You do a favor for me, you&rsquo;re my friend. You do a favor for my son, you&rsquo;re a friend for life,&rsquo;&rdquo; Archer said.<\/p>\n<p>Archer said he did not expect to need a pardon &ldquo;because I never did anything.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I was a victim of financial fraud in which I invested a lot of money and was taken down [by] a whistleblower [who] was blowing the whistle on Hunter,&rdquo; he continued.<\/p>\n<p>In speaking to the Post&rsquo;s Devine, Archer said he was &ldquo;the victim of a <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">convoluted lawfare effort intended<\/a> to destroy and silence me.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He said that the &ldquo;Obama-Biden legal apparatus&rdquo; protected <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/devon-archer-tucker-carlson-joe-biden-wrote-thank-letter-2011-china-meeting-happy-guys-together\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Hunter Biden<\/a>, but not him.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Like so many people, my life was devastated by the Biden family&rsquo;s selfish disregard for the truth and for the peace of mind and happiness of others. The Bidens talk about justice, but they don&rsquo;t mean it,&rdquo; he said. &ldquo;I am grateful that the American people are now well aware of this reality.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Hunter Biden was paid $200,000 from the company involved in a $60 million tribal bonds fraud, for which Archer was convicted in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The conviction was later overturned, then reinstated.
