It requires manufacturers to use an amended test to comply with energy conservation standards.<\/p>\n<p>The DOE also postponed efficiency standards for walk-in coolers and freezers and for gas-instantaneous water heaters, which were finalized in December and require the products to use less electricity while operating.<\/p>\n<p>House lawmakers are expected to vote this week on overturning the energy conservation standards for walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers. Rep. Stephanie Bice (R-OK) is sponsoring the legislation.<\/p>\n<p>In recent weeks, Republicans have been using the Congressional Review Act to overturn many of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/energy-and-environment\/3324716\/house-leadership-target-list-biden-climate-rules-cancel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"> Biden administration&rsquo;s climate<\/a> and energy regulations. The CRA is a special legislative process to bypass the filibuster. It allows a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/blackburn-introduces-amendments-to-counter-china-and-iran\/\" title=\"Blackburn Introduces Amendments to Counter China and Iran\">simple majority vote<\/a> in both chambers to cancel regulations.<\/p>\n<p>Lawmakers will also look to vote on undoing the energy conservation standards for commercial refrigerators, freezers, and refrigerator-freezers rule. The legislation is being sponsored by Rep.
