in a firm rebuttal of feuding with &ldquo;mean girls.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Maher revealed in his newest episode of <em>Club Random <\/em>that he would be paying the president a visit at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/section\/news\/white-house\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">White House<\/a>, which he explained was an idea pitched by Kid Rock when the musician was a guest on Maher&rsquo;s podcast. You lost the election.&rsquo; Who the f*** do you think you have to talk to? Gavin Newsom (D-CA) has &ldquo;changed his tune&rdquo; and started a podcast<\/a>, <em>This is Gavin Newsom<\/em>, which has featured several prominent figures who support Trump and the Republican Party. Newsom&rsquo;s first podcast featured Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk. Comedian Andrew Schulz, who joined Maher on his recent <em>Club Random <\/em>podcast, argued Newsom was &ldquo;brilliant&rdquo; for doing so. He also said that people engaging in friendly debate and conversation, despite being of differing ideologies, &ldquo;needs to be normalized.&rdquo;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Schulz noted how people in the United States &ldquo;like bravery,&rdquo; citing how the ancestors of U.S. residents left their homes to immigrate to a new land, joking that &ldquo;we just have the DNA of crazy people&rdquo; willing to risk everything. As such, he suggested there is a &ldquo;primal instinctual reaction&rdquo; of dislike among people unafraid to debate, which both he and Maher deemed &ldquo;un-American.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/entertainment\/3353975\/jd-vance-podcast-kamala-harris-4-shots-vodka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">VANCE SAYS HE DOESN&rsquo;T NEED &lsquo;4 SHOTS OF VODKA&rsquo; TO DO HIS JOB IN SLAM ON HARRIS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Schulz then suggested this fear of debate may have played a factor in former Vice President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/kamala-harris\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Kamala Harris&rsquo;s<\/a> 2024 bid for the presidency, referring to how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/campaigns\/presidential\/3242909\/harris-campaign-chairwoman-blames-loss-media-and-weather\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Harris initially avoided the media <\/a>when jumping into the race. Schulz cited how Trump seemed to be &ldquo;willing to talk to whoever&rdquo; in comparison, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ry1IjOft95c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">including Schulz when the comedian hosted Trump on his podcast, <em>FLAGRANT<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead of his meeting with Trump, Maher joked he would not &ldquo;dress like Zelensky,&rdquo; referring to when Ukrainian President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/white-house\/3333696\/heated-oval-office-exchange-trump-vance-zelensky\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Volodymyr Zelensky visited the Oval Office last month<\/a>.
