and a &ldquo;thief&rdquo; in an appearance on <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/cnn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">CNN<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bowman, a former member of the progressive &ldquo;Squad&rdquo; He&rsquo;s a thief. He&rsquo;s a Nazi. And people don&rsquo;t trust him,&rdquo; Bowman said on CNN&rsquo;s <em>NewsNight With Abby Phillip<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1903290278250942767?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"posted \">posted <\/a>on X that he&rsquo;s &ldquo;had enough&rdquo; and a lawsuit against Bowman is &ldquo;inbound.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Republican lawmakers were quick to offer their support for Musk&rsquo;s potential legal action, including Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC).<\/p>\n<p>Lee <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BasedMikeLee\/status\/1903333103931699710\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"called for\">called for<\/a> Musk to sue Bowman, adding that &ldquo;Defamation against conservatives can&rsquo;t go unaddressed or it will never end.&rdquo; Mace also urged Musk to &ldquo;Fight back!&rdquo; against attacks from Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Bowman has been met with backlash for his remarks. <\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Last December, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/house\/3256709\/bowman-unleashes-frustration-white-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"ranted \">ranted <\/a>about &ldquo;white people&rdquo; on his X account when discussing police violence and white supremacy, saying they are &ldquo;too far gone&rdquo; and he doesn&rsquo;t &ldquo;know why I feel the need to keep talking to you.&rdquo; In response, Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY)<a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/lawler4ny\/status\/1866572577398821136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;posted&nbsp;<\/a>a meme on X, sarcastically adding, &ldquo;I must say, I&rsquo;m shocked, just shocked that you lost your primary. You will be missed.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>He also faced significant controversy while still a member of the House for pulling a fire alarm during a key congressional vote on a spending bill. For this action, he was censured by the House and charged by the Washington, D.C., attorney general.
