Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced Thursday that his department had cut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/policy\/defense\/3354253\/pete-hegseth-580-million-in-doge-cuts-pentagon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">$580 billion<\/a> in waste.
