Kennedy Jr.<\/a>&nbsp;announced Thursday his intention to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/health\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">eliminate<\/a> the Generally Recognized As Safe standards for most domestic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/food\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">products<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;ve launched a review of the GRAS standards, and we&rsquo;re going to get rid of the GRAS standards for most products,&rdquo; Kennedy told Fox News. &ldquo;The GRAS standards is a standard that was adopted in 1958.
