Every sincere Christian, of course, strives for the latter.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview conducted while still on board the International Space Station, 62-year-old NASA astronaut <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/people\/barry-butch-e-wilmore\/#:~:text=In%202009%2C%20Wilmore%20served%20as,space%20station%20on%20June%206.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Barry &ldquo;Butch&rdquo; Wilmore<\/a> responded to a question about what lessons he had learned during his unexpectedly lengthy stay in orbit, which began when he and fellow astronaut Suni Williams arrived at the station on June 6, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;My feeling on all of this goes back to my faith,&rdquo; Wilmore said in a clip posted to the social media platform X. &ldquo;It&rsquo;s bound in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Wilmore and Williams made a dramatic return to Earth. NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov accompanied the pair.
