His boss stepped on the hose<\/h1>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-title-line\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"tdb-block-inner td-fix-index\">\n<div id=\"Brid_2040065\" class=\"tpd-featured-video bridtv\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>DETROIT (AP) &mdash;<\/strong> A Michigan judge has thrown cold water on a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/michigan-walmart-car-wash-shoplifters-fcbc8bf71934adc0660484e78d8443fd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">plan to have Walmart shoplifters wash cars<\/a>&nbsp;as a consequence for their misdemeanor crime.<\/p>\n<p>The unusual sentence came from Judge Jeffrey Clothier, who has been on the 67th District Court in Genesee County for only a few months. But after hearing about the plan, officials at Walmart headquarters in Arkansas told him they didn&rsquo;t want the car washes to be offered on store property.<a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/michigan-walmart-car-wash-shoplifters-fcbc8bf71934adc0660484e78d8443fd\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Undeterred, the judge figured he would simply find another site for soap, water, buckets and towels. With Crawford&rsquo;s order, however, the car wash is finished.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I&rsquo;m frustrated,&rdquo; Clothier said. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m still going to try to come up with a creative way to solve this problem. &hellip; I had 37 new Walmart theft offenses two days ago.
