The Bureau projected that the foreign-born share would not reach 15.8% of the U.S. population until 2042,&rdquo; it added.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&rsquo;s failure at the border actually let in 11.5 to 12.5 million migrants overall, but when deaths and self-deportations were accounted for, the estimate fell to a net of 8.3 million, CIS said.<\/p>\n<p>From his first day in office, Biden dismantled the border-closing successes made in President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/tag\/Donald-Trump\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Donald Trump<\/a>&rsquo;s first administration. After leaving office last January, Trump put many of those policies back into place and also threatened to find and deport illegal migrants.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, the border is seeing record-low crossings, according to federal officials.<\/p>\n<p>The counting of illegal immigrants in America is tricky. While based on Census numbers, it is still difficult to come up with an air-tight number. Different groups use different formulas to determine a number.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/washington-secrets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SEE THE LATEST POLITICAL NEWS AND BUZZ FROM WASHINGTON SECRETS<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At CIS, the experts estimated that there are a total of 15.8 million illegal immigrants in the United States.
