A reporter asked if the president would &ldquo;buy or lease&rdquo; the vehicle, to which the president responded he was looking to buy. The president&rsquo;s granddaughter, the daughter of Donald Trump Jr., went viral in July 2024 when she spoke at the Republican National Convention and detailed how the president is a &ldquo;normal grandpa.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Musk also spoke at the event. He announced that Tesla would &ldquo;double&rdquo; its vehicle output in the United States in the next two years.
