Investigation To \u2018Six Additional\u2019 Kin\">influence-peddling activities<\/a>.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"readmore\">\n    <button onclick=\"showReadMore()\" id=\"readmorebtn\">Read more&#8230;<\/button>\n<\/p>\n<hr id=\"line\">\n<span id=\"more\"><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>It&rsquo;s not lost on conservatives how far America&rsquo;s legacy media have gone to cover up former President Joe Biden&rsquo;s corrupt family business dealings. <\/p>\n<p>When they weren&rsquo;t outright <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/mounting-evidence-doesnt-matter-corporate-media-will-never-cover-the-biden-corruption-scandal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ignoring<\/a> bombshell developments documenting Joe&rsquo;s involvement in the family&rsquo;s money-making operation, these so-called &ldquo;journalists&rdquo; were more than happy to go along with the Biden White House&rsquo;s <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/26\/karine-jean-pierre-once-again-flip-flops-on-joe-bidens-involvement-in-his-familys-foreign-business-dealings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">talking points<\/a> that the then-president had nothing to do with his son Hunter&rsquo;s business affairs &mdash; despite former business associates, IRS and FBI whistleblowers,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/27\/wire-transfers-from-chinese-oligarchs-to-hunter-biden-listed-joe-bidens-home-address\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bank records<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/27\/hunter-texted-james-biden-about-shopping-out-the-biden-brand-the-familys-only-asset\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">text messages<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/09\/27\/hunter-biden-email-discussing-5-million-payment-from-burisma-corroborates-fd-1023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">emails<\/a>, reporting from a &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/06\/16\/everything-we-know-about-the-biden-bribery-scheme-from-the-fbi-document\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">highly credible<\/a>&rdquo; informant,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/01\/follow-40000-from-communist-china-directly-to-joe-bidens-bank-account\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">written checks<\/a>, and even Joe <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/here-are-all-the-people-who-have-corroborated-biden-family-corruption\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">himself<\/a> indicating otherwise. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;<em>There&rsquo;s no proof that Hunter making bank from business associates is about selling access to his father<\/em>,&rdquo; or so the phony media narrative went. <\/p>\n<p>But if what the media said is true (it&rsquo;s not), then how are Americans supposed to square Hunter&rsquo;s newfound money problems?<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, the New York Post <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/03\/06\/us-news\/hunter-biden-asks-judge-to-drop-his-laptop-lawsuit-because-hes-broke-victim-of-la-fires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reported<\/a> on a recent court filing by the younger Biden&rsquo;s attorneys revealing that their client is in a deep financial hole. According to the report, &ldquo;The embattled former first son, 55, said he has managed to sell just one piece of art &hellip; since December 2023&rdquo; that was priced at $36,000 &mdash; a measly amount when compared to the roughly $1.5 million Hunter amassed throughout his dad&rsquo;s 2020 campaign and subsequent presidency. <\/p>\n<p><strong>[READ:[READ:<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/25\/hunter-biden-art-buyer-revealed-as-a-major-democrat-donor-and-joe-biden-appointee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hunter Biden Art Buyer Revealed As A Major Democrat Donor And Joe Biden Appointee<\/a>]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The filings &mdash; which request the court to drop Hunter&rsquo;s &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YuVZYV\">laptop hacking lawsuit&#038;rdquo<\/a>; against a former Trump administration official &mdash; also reportedly revealed that sales for the former First Son&rsquo;s 2021 memoir, <em>Beautiful Things<\/em>, have also plummeted by more than 50 percent over the course of 2023. <\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Given the positive feedback and reviews of my artwork and memoir, I was expecting to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hunter-biden-ran-out-of-money-as-art-sales-dried-up-court-filings-say-washington-examiner\/\" title=\"... ran out of money as art sales dried up, ...s say - Washington Examiner\">obtain paid speaking engagements<\/a> and paid appearances, but that has not happened,&rdquo; said Hunter, whose lawyers disclosed that their client &ldquo;has suffered a significant downturn in his income and has significant debt in the millions of dollars range.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>So, what exactly happened in late 2023 that precipitated Hunter&rsquo;s sudden financial woes? <\/p>\n<p>For those who recall, December 2023 was the month in which Special Counsel David Weiss levied nine federal charges against Joe&rsquo;s son for tax-related crimes. However, as The Federalist&rsquo;s Tristan Justice <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/12\/08\/weiss-charges-hunter-biden-with-three-tax-felonies-but-ignores-foreign-influence-peddling-to-protect-joe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">noted<\/a>, these charges did not include anything related to foreign-influence peddling activities that could implicate his father and came &ldquo;more than four months after a plea deal [sought by his dad&rsquo;s Justice Department] was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/26\/hunter-biden-plea-deal-derailed-by-federal-judge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">derailed<\/a> by a federal judge.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>By that point, congressional Republicans had uncovered <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/12\/06\/biden-says-the-emails-bank-records-whistleblowers-and-testimony-proving-his-involvement-in-family-biz-are-bunch-of-lies\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">troves of records<\/a> implicating Joe and Hunter in the Biden family&rsquo;s business dealings. For all intents and purposes, the indictment was nothing more than a slap on the wrist to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/12\/08\/theres-only-one-explanation-for-hunter-bidens-simple-indictment-taking-so-long-2020-election-interference\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cover up<\/a> Joe&rsquo;s involvement in his family&rsquo;s operations. <\/p>\n<p>But Hunter&rsquo;s ability to sell the Biden family &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/13\/bobulinski-joe-biden-was-the-brand-his-family-was-selling-to-foreign-governments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brand<\/a>&rdquo; and access to his father to potential foreign business partners would only deteriorate from there. <\/p>\n<p>Following his disastrous June 2024 debate performance against Donald Trump, the media could no longer hide Biden&rsquo;s cognitive decline from the American public. With his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolling.com\/polls\/approval\/joe-biden\/approval-rating\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">approval rating<\/a> in the toilet, Democrats began to see the 46th president as a political liability that could cost them the White House and Congress in the November election.<\/p>\n<p>Their worries set into motion the silent intraparty coup that ultimately forced Biden to drop his reelection bid and produced Kamala Harris as the Democrats&rsquo; 2024 nominee. Much to the party&rsquo;s dismay, Americans found Harris just as distasteful as Biden, resulting in Trump&rsquo;s return to the White House and Republicans taking both chambers of Congress. <\/p>\n<p>In an apparent effort to conceal his involvement in his family&rsquo;s foreign business dealings, Joe took the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/12\/05\/there-is-no-historical-precedent-for-hunter-bidens-pardon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">unpreceded<\/a> step of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/asa-hutchinson-says-he-wont-offer-blanket-pardons-to-jan-6-rioters\/\" title=\"Hutchinson won&#039;t pardon Jan. 6 rioters en masse.\">issuing blanket pardons<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/12\/03\/hunter-bidens-pardon-is-all-about-protecting-joe-biden-not-his-son\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hunter<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2025\/01\/20\/biden-shatters-democrats-sacred-norms-to-turn-pardons-into-get-out-of-jail-free-cards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">other members<\/a> of the Biden clan for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/cnn-humiliates-joe-biden-by-rolling-the-tape-on-7-damaging-clips-regarding-hunters-pardon\/\" title=\"CNN Humiliates ... Biden by Rolling the Tape on 7 Damaging Clips Regarding ...s Pardon\">potential crimes dating back<\/a> to January 2014. And by Jan. 20, 2025, the Biden family empire had collapsed. <\/p>\n<p>Based on his latest court filings, it&rsquo;s clear that Hunter&rsquo;s ability to rake in the big bucks without the &ldquo;big guy&rdquo; has vanished. With his father no longer wielding the levers of power in Washington, major money shakers, both foreign and domestic, no longer see any reason to invest in the former First Son&rsquo;s escapades. <\/p>\n<p>The legacy press&rsquo;s willingness to censor stories that don&rsquo;t fit their preferred narrative will undoubtedly mean these developments won&rsquo;t get the attention they deserve.
