Police have not released the identity of the second child.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">&lsquo;We&rsquo;re overwhelmed with joy&rsquo;: Boy abducted 7 years ago found safe | Click on the image to read the full story <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/MuQUtdRqxw\">https:\/\/t.co\/MuQUtdRqxw<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; WMUR TV (@WMUR9) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WMUR9\/status\/1897380365318099211?\">March 5, 2025<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p> <script type=\"text\/javascript\"> \t\t\tif ( getCookie( \"ff_subbed\" ) ) { \t\t\t\tdocument.getElementById(\"stnvideo\").remove() \t\t\t} \t\t<\/script> <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The two burglary suspects, a male and female, exited the home and told the deputies they knew the realtor.<\/p>\n<p>But after four hours of attempting to identify the pair, police came to a startling realization.<\/p>\n<p>The woman was 40-year-old Rabia Khalid who was wanted for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/hog-hunters-reportedly-spot-kidnapped-children-armed-man-middle-wilderness-police-say-sighting-credible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kidnapping<\/a>, and the male was 42-year-old Elliot Blake Bourgeois, her husband.<\/p>\n<p>Khalid is the boy&rsquo;s non-custodial mother, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.missingkids.org\/blog\/2023\/mom-on-the-run\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Center for Missing &amp; Exploited Children<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"firefly-embed\"> <iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qeOVLAapn_c?si=Xtwv5Jl92KWUmEhQ\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>On Nov. 27, 2017, when the boy was seven years old, Khalid allegedly took him from his father&rsquo;s home in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Khalid and her ex-husband, Abdul, were reportedly embroiled in a custody battle for several years at that point.<\/p>\n<p>On the day of the kidnapping, Khalid was supposed to have attended a custody hearing in Atlanta, but instead packed her bags and ran, taking her son and her then-new husband Bourgeois with her.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the U.S. Marshals Service issuing a warrant for Khalid&rsquo;s arrest and searching 11 states, neither she nor her son were ever found.<\/p>\n<p>The case was even featured in the Netflix show &ldquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/unsolved.com\/gallery\/abducted-by-a-parent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unsolved Mysteries<\/a>.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Upon their discovery, Khalid and Bourgeois were taken to Douglas County Jail, facing charges of second-degree kidnapping, forgery, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.westernjournal.com\/mans-life-turns-nightmare-identity-theft-authorities-refused-believe-judge-ordered-stay-psych-ward\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">identity theft<\/a>, and others. In total, Khalid faces nine charges, while Bourgeois faces 14.<\/p>\n<p>Each has a bond set at $1 million.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We&rsquo;re overwhelmed with joy that Aziz has finally been found,&rdquo; Khan&rsquo;s family said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We want to thank everyone for their support over the last seven years. We specifically want to recognize the Douglas County Sheriff&rsquo;s Office for their exceptional work in solving this case.
